Meet the new owners of the Extreme Pita at Las Tiendas Village!
Please welcome Fred and Gayle Haas to the Las Tiendas Village family! Fred and Gayle were both born in the Chicago area, and raised their three children Liza, Chad and Erik, in Arlington Heights, a northern suburb of Chicago. In 1989, on a bet, Fred opened their first restaurant, Uncle Freddy's Red Hots (be sure to ask Fred to tell you the details about that bet when you visit). Fred eventually built his business to include another restaurant and a catering company. In 2004, tired of Chicago winters, they followed their three children out to Arizona to enjoy the weather and six amazing grandchildren. Gayle's background in the school system back home landed her a job within the Chandler School system. Fred went to work for Home Depot, however he found himself missing the restaurant business. Keeping his eyes open for the right opportunity, Fred and Gayle believe they found it with Extreme Pita, the fresh and healthy alternative to fast food. If you've been to Extreme Pita before please come back and check out the new décor, menu and attitude!
